We will give you information about how to handle all the numbers you have to dial when you make long distance phone calls. There are four codes you need to call Australia or some other foreign country. You need to follow the order of those codes to be sure that everything is right and you will be able to connect your Australian friends.
There is an international code. It is 011 and you need to enter it first.  After that you need the country code. Australian country code is 61. Then you need to dial the code of the city where your contacts live. The last code you have to enter is the local number. To make the connection you have to follow the order. Let me repeat again: international code, area code, city code and local number. Congratulations, now you are ready to make your cheap calls to Australia without bothering about numbers.
